Lessons

I customize lessons to the needs of the student.  From beginner to advanced, I offer a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals in technique, music theory and interpretation.  In an encouraging and nonjudgmental environment, my students will gain not only the ability to play the piano, but with regular repertoire classes will accomplish a comfort in sharing music with others as a performer and collaborator.  Those who think they and theirs are least qualified for lessons often are surprised to find studying something that crosses many disciplines and parts of the brain can help, and those with learning struggles often shine with the confidence gained through this learning process.  There is no charge for the first lesson, and I think of it more as a mutual evaluation.
